Scirocco GT from the 1977 Danish Championship.
Really great slotcar with high quality aluminium chassis, aluminium wheels and ball bearings.
The car is 1/24 scale, but the motor is for a usage from 12-15V.Therefore we only use the Carrere D132 chip for converting the BRM cars to Carrera digital.

We use only the original Carrera chip, so we can guarantee that the car has always the same functions like an original Carrera car. Cars without lights, can be upgraded with Overdrive lights, these have also the same functions then the original Carrara cars.

Unfortunately, BRM's and Revoslot's build quality has declined somewhat, resulting in minor but annoying defects. Sometimes the screws fall out when you open the box, the motor isn't positioned correctly, and the motor pinion doesn't mesh with the axle gear. In some cases, the rims are almost impossible to remove because the hole isn't exactly 3mm. In these cases, the rim must be widened to 3mm with a reamer. During the chassis check, all of these points are checked and corrected.

More grip thanks to precision-ground Ortmann tires.
We mount the tires directly on the rims they’ll be used with, then grind them flat using an RSM machine. This ensures smooth running and consistent traction on the track.

Note: Only available in combination with a vehicle or a set of aluminum rims.

We gently run in the motor over several hours with gradually increasing voltage. This can improve performance and RPM by up to 10% – without modifying the vehicle.

We run in the motor and drivetrain over several hours at low voltage. Afterward, the rear axle is cleaned, bearings are oiled, and the gear is freshly greased – for smooth and efficient running right from the start.

The screws that fix and position the motor in the motor mount are often difficult to loosen even at the factory. We therefore strongly recommend having these screws replaced immediately. The new screws are of significantly better quality and can be opened with a Torx 6.
