Running in the slotcar

Here, your slotcar undergoes a complete break-in process. The engine and transmission are gently run in on a roller dynamometer, then everything is cleaned, oiled, and regreased. This ensures optimal running characteristics and a longer service life – right from the first lap.

No, the Carrera warranty is void if the slotcar is modified. Even if only the tires are replaced, Carrera refuses to replace the decoder or motor. We provide a warranty for all Carrera Digital 132 cars we convert.

We generally have all Carrera Digital 132 cars with trued Ortmann tires and a run-in engine in stock. The Drift tuning set is also available at very short notice. Only the Power tuning set can take up to a week.

Yes, everything we remove is included with the car. The tires and engine are unmodified, so they can be reused at any time. Only when installing the Power tuning kit will the rim be removed from the rear axle, rendering the axle unusable.
