Fly on the Carrera Digital 132, no problem for us
When upgrading to digital, we only use the Carrera Digital 132 decoder. For most models the cockpit needs to be replaced.
Lighting for Digital Use
To make your Fly slotcar stand out, we can equip it with a custom lighting system.
It mirrors the functions of the Carrera Digital lights – including brake lights.
Depending on the model, we install:
Xenon LEDs for modern cars
Warm white LEDs for classic vehicles
If you prefer a specific type of lighting, simply add your request in the order comment field.
All systems use plug connectors, making them easy to handle, just like the originals.
Additional headlights can also be added if the car design allows it.
Lights for use on analoge tracks
For analog use, we install our OVERDRIVE permanent lighting system:
Xenon LEDs for modern cars
Warm white LEDs for classics
Special requests can also be specified during checkout.
Extra headlights are available where possible.
Basic Tuning Fly Slotcars
Ortmann Tires: Rear axle fitted with Ortmann tires, trued on the RSM – the minimum tuning for more driving fun.
Cockpit Replacement: Swap to a 2D photoinlet – less weight, lower center of gravity.
Run-in Motor: Several hours at low voltage – up to +10 % RPM.
Run-in Vehicle: Motor & gears run in, axle cleaned, gears greased, bearings oiled.
Tuning Fly Classic cars
Expert Set: Slot.it rear axle with bearings & gears, Ortmann tires, Zero-Grip fronts, optimized front axle, Scaleauto guide, magnets removed, chassis weighted.
Power Set: All measures of Expert, plus a 25,000 rpm motor. Magnet remains, chassis weighted if needed.
Tuning Fly 911er
Drift Set: Entire axle replaced with Slot.it parts, Ortmann tires, Scaleauto guide, magnet moved to the front (due to rear engine), front axle upgraded with bushings → realistic Porsche driving dynamics.
Power Set: Like Drift, plus a 25,000 rpm motor. Magnet remains, chassis weighted if necessary.
Tuning Fly Trucks
Expert Set: Ortmann tires, Zero-Grip front tires, Scaleauto racing guide, fixed motor, magnet removed, chassis weighted → drift-capable truck.
Expert II Set: Like Expert, plus replacement of original axle with Slot.it axle (with gears & bearings) for durability.
Power Set: 25,000 rpm SRP motor + axle upgrade like Expert II, magnet stays in.
